Humana Medicare Advantage plans are designed with your convenience in mind
With Medicare Advantage plans, rather than pay your medical bills directly, the federal government contracts with Humana to administer your Medicare coverage. They pay us a flat fee. Then we go to work keeping healthcare more affordable so we can pass those savings on to our members in the form of lower costs and added benefits. Humana offers $0 plans in most areas, and in many areas, you will find both $0 HMO and PPO plan options.
So what’s the catch? Of course, no Medicare plan is completely free. You may still be responsible for paying deductibles and copays for covered services as well as your Part B Medicare premium, which is typically deducted from your social security check each month.
We know how important it is to be able to see the doctors and specialists you trust. That’s why we’ve built one of the largest networks of doctors, hospitals, and pharmacies in the U.S.
In 2019, Humana Medicare Advantage Prescription Drug Plan and Prescription Drug Plan members saved an estimated $7,800 on average on their prescription costs.**
Here are just a few of the ways we’re helping our members save on their prescriptions.
