Frequently Asked Questions

A licensed Humana sales agent can tell you how much your medications will cost on each plan and help you find a right Humana plan that fits your needs.

A licensed Humana sales agent can help you find an in-network doctor or confirm your doctors and specialists are in-network.

Medicare Question: 1 of 2

Let’s check your Medicare Parts A and B eligibility first.

Have you been a U.S. citizen or permanent legal resident for at least five years?

Medicare Question: 2 of 2

Do you meet one or more of the following requirements?

  • You are age 65 or older.
  • You have received Social Security disability or a disability pension from the Railroad Retirement Board for at least two consecutive years.
  • You have Lou Gehrig’s disease or End-Stage Renal Disease (permanent kidney failure requiring dialysis or kidney transplant).

For the most part, as long as you meet one or more of these requirements, then you are likely eligible for Medicare Parts A and B.

Now, let's see if you meet the requirements to receive Medicaid benefits.

Do You Qualify for a Dual-Eligible Special Needs Plan?

Medicaid Question: 1 of 1

Now, let’s see if you meet the requirements to receive Medicaid benefits.

Medicaid is a program designed to help low-income individuals get access to health care coverage. It is partially funded by state government meaning each state may have slightly different requirements as long as they meet all minimum federal guidelines. While each state has different eligibility requirements for their specific Medicaid program, for 2022, generally income less than $1,379 as a single person, or less than $1,851 as a married couple may qualify you for Medicaid benefits.

For more information, contact your State Medicaid Program or visit Medicaid.gov https://www.medicaid.gov/medicaid/eligibility/medicaid-enrollees/index.html
